oak wood, jacquard woven viscose | 120 x 54 x 132 cm | 2012
A cabinet constructed in oak wood with a reference to timber framing as seen in architecture. Joost van Bleiswijk designed the frame. The space in between the framing is closed with textiles designed by Kiki. It's a design for Ee labels which is famous for its labels as you find in your own clothing. It is challenging to explore the boundaries of a technique for such small items in order to experiment on a bigger scale with a different function.
